April Favourites.

I thought I’d share with you some of my favourite products at the moment. Not necessary new products on the market, but certainly things I could not live without!

1. Batiste – £2.99. I love it! I’ve been using Batiste for years and I’m yet to find a product that does the same job for my hair. It adds volume and texture whilst revitalising your locks for those in-between wash days.

2. Barry M Clear Nail Varnish – £2.99. For Spring I wanted my nails to look fresh and with this clear nail varnish I achieve just that. My nails look clean with a nice shimmer on them when the light catches the varnish.

3. Raspberry Body Butter – £5.00. Winter dries out my skin so much and so it’s now getting towards the time where I can use a moisturiser that’s a little bit lighter. I’m really liking The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter at the moment. The smell is amazing and I can only describe it as like a fruity yoghurt!

4. Maybelline New York BB Cream – £7.99. I can’t recommend this highly enough if you want coverage that lightens your skin so that you have a healthy glow without a heavy foundation look, go for it. Great for Spring!

And last but not least for April I am loving HIGHLIGHTS! I decided that with a new season, new hair was needed. I opted for a shorter and lighter blonde to mirror the upcoming sunshine.

~ Nails Take Any Old Outfit And Make It New – Essie ~

I always feel a sense of power after painting my nails… The confidence just grows knowing that my fingertips are on point to the world, showing them off on any occasion.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m no manicurist and I can certainly paint my left hand better than my right, but no outfit is complete without nails to match.

I’ve never been a girl where I overly accessorize with necklaces, rings and bracelets. I’m definitely more of a pick one statement piece (if any…) and just go with that. So, painting my nails has always been my way to spice up my attire.

At the moment I’m liking Barry M as my go-to brand of choice. Over the years I’ve acquired a huge collection of nail varnishes from all kinds of brands and spent a small fortune! With this, I wanted a brand whereby I could still get a quality product but for half the price in order to save my bank balance.

Barry M has an array of colours, finishes and glitter galore options to choose from and I find that they work really well for me. I like brushes that are thin in design and so these are perfect for thin lines and designs. For around £2.99 for a basic colour, it’s quite easy (as you’ll tell from my photo) to place a few in your basket at once.

Never underestimate the power of a nice French manicure.
