So, after thinking about it for a while, I finally subscribed to Glossybox! I love Birchbox, but I’m excited to try out a new beauty box for a few months, just to see which one personally suits me more 🙂
The first thing I noticed was the ridiculously cute packaging! I love the pink box with all of the products tied up in a bow, it’s very nicely presented. Anyway, here’s what I got…
1. Naobay Calming Face Toner – £10.65. This is a citrus scented liquid toner, which calms, hydrates, cleanses and removes makeup – win win? Simply place a few drops on a cotton pad and wipe away! For the money, I feel you get a really good size amount of product and I just adore the packaging! So glossy 😉
2. SASS Purifying Cleanser – £7. This in-shower formula works as a probiotic to balance your skins PH levels and ensure everyday freshness. I’ve not used this yet and I’ve actually never used a cleanser specifically for your intimate area before, but perhaps this’ll revolutionise my shower routine!
3. Emite Artist Colour Powder Blush (108) – £20.59. This ‘blunzer’ as Glossybox have dubbed it is a really pretty shade. It can be used for blush, contouring or just adding a little glow to your face and I’m definitely a fan. However… I find the price for a blush a little steep, so I’ll have to think about when it runs out if I’m ready to commit to an actual purchase. If you’re not fazed by this however, I recommend trying this pretty blush.
4. Manna Kadar Lash Primer – £14.55. This creamy formula nourishes your lashes leaving them conditioned and voluminous! You can use it as a base primer or after you’ve taken off your makeup as an overnight conditioner for your lashes. I quite like this product, I mean I wouldn’t necessarily say it works miracles and gives me that fake lash look (without the fake lashes) but it does give me a nice base to apply my mascara on.
5. MeMeMe Lipglide In Playful Peach – £6.95. This is a peachy coral colour lip crayon which has a velvety feel when applied. Unfortunately I’m not a big fan of the colour itself and perhaps if this was in a deeper pink or red colour I’d be able to give it a better review, sorry!
Overall, I really enjoyed this months box and I’m definitely looking forward to receiving both boxes next month to see which beauty box is my favourite!
